How to get a nerd like you

Lately more and more girls are falling for the kinds of guys called "nerds". Just get rid of the glasses and complete cutie right? Of course you might think its easy to get a nerd to like you, but somehow its not working. Here's how to do it.

1. 
   
   Get to know what he likes, don't assume he's the stereotypical "nerd". You might have some things in common, and if you don't, keep your mind open. Still, make sure you don't lie or agree with everything he says. Ex. If he says "I love MC Lars" but you haven't heard MC Lars before, don't say "I do too!" instead say, "Cool, I haven't listened to him before though, but when I do I'll let you know what I think of it."

   If he cracks a joke laugh with him. Even if it's not that funny, a little chuckle is good. Of course, no one wants to see you a giggling fool just because he said something.

   DON'T tell your friends. Just like with all boys, this can be a turnoff for him. How would you like it if some guy's friends kept giggling and pointing when you walked by?

   Flirt. If you don't want people to see you touching him like that, hugging is an option. Just don't make the hug 5 minutes long; he probably has to go somewhere.

   Talk with him online. Getting his email address and myspace might make it less awkward if you want to ask him if he wants to hang out.

   Be aware that nerds may have a tendency to be over careful with relationships, they've been through bad experiences and don't want to fall lower on the social chain. It may or may not take time for the nerd to feel neutral or positive to you.

   Dress casually, it might seem weird that all of a sudden your all prepped up whenever you might see him.

   Enjoy spending time with him, even if you realize the relationship you wanted might not work out, you and him will be great friends!

   Learn about things of his interest even if they aren't your interest.

    The majority of nerds fall in love with, well, other nerds. So this might be difficult if you're a completely preppy individual. This doesn't mean change yourself so they'll like you. Be yourself!
